What we need:
We have an exciting opportunity for a technical sales professional located Boston. This position is responsible for selling Thermotron’s range of advances environmental test solutions and services. Our customers use Thermotron products to test a wide range of high tech products spanning a diverse range of industries including defense, aerospace, automotive, electronics, energy, telecommunications and semiconductors. Thermotron systems can be found in research & development labs, quality control and production areas around the world.
What you will do:
Key responsibilities of this role are to develop relationships with key influencers and decision makers and implement territory action plans to ensure customer needs are maximized and goals & objectives are met or exceeded. This plan incorporates strategies for existing account management as well as new account prospecting with specific industries and applications. To assist in exceeding sales metrics and assure high levels of customer satisfaction, you will be supported by an experienced applications support team.
The job will ideally be located in the Greater Boston area and covers Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and parts of Canada . The position will be supported with vehicle reimbursement and overnight travel is estimated to be 30%.
Successful applicants will be motivated, confident, and outgoing and have a bachelor’s degree combined with 5 years of successful technical capital equipment sales experience. Direct experience appropriate to the territory, testing industry, and markets served is a major plus. Additional requirements include:

Customer focused, consultative selling style with strong follow-up and well executed implementation.
