- Maintain up to date personnel files for all new and terminated employees, that include: earnings; withholdings; attendance records; authorized deductions for the Credit Union, court orders, tool purchases; and claims for unemployment and disability.
- Verify and reconcile, on daily basis, labor and attendance transactions. Interact with foreman, supervisors, and managers as necessary to correct erroneous information.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of hourly and salary payroll report to assist accounting with general ledger reconciliations.
- Compile and distribute various weekly/monthly financial and statistical reports for all levels of management.
- Ensure proper and consistent administration of Company Pay Policies.
- Perform data entry for all confidential information, set up printer for payroll and distribute checks.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION:
- Requires a High School Diploma with business courses and prior payroll experience.
- The position requires some typing and data entry skills.
- Good math skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality are necessary.
