Use your hvac/refrigeration skills to assist our field service technicians with troubleshooting equipment in the field.
We have Great Training and support for this position and for our Field Service Engineers.

This position has two primary purposes.  One, to provide technical support solving service related problems received from Field Service Technicians and Engineers, customers, international agencies, or regional service managers.  Second, developing (and teaching) comprehensive, quantifiable, training programs to teach Field Service Technicians and Engineers necessary technical and customer relations skills.  Individuals in this position will work with Field Service Technicians and Engineers, international agencies, customers (worldwide), Engineering, Manufacturing, Parts and Logistics, Technical Writing, and the Training and Development Manager.

PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide timely technical advice to customers, Thermotron Field Service Technicians and Engineers, and Thermotron Parts Department.
  • Respond to customer problems in a highly responsive manner and assist them in obtaining parts, service, or repair.
  • Prepare and provide Field Service Technicians and Engineers with service bulletins, detailing changes in methods, procedures, and parts on a timely basis.
  • Advise field service personnel on repair techniques and current problem solutions.
  • Prepare, maintain, and teach comprehensive training programs to expand and test knowledge of Field Service Technicians and Engineers. Maintain detailed reports of training status and knowledge level of each Field Service Technician and Engineer.  Schedule necessary training courses and advise regional service managers of Field Service Technicians and Engineers’ training knowledge and status.
  • Develop and teach courses at the annual Product Support Service Seminar and any additional training required for Product Support personnel.
