  • Maintain up to date personnel files for all new and terminated employees, that include: earnings; withholdings; attendance records; authorized deductions for the Credit Union, court orders, tool purchases; and claims for unemployment and disability.
  • Verify and reconcile, on daily basis, labor and attendance transactions. Interact with foreman, supervisors, and managers as necessary to correct erroneous information.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of hourly and salary payroll report to assist accounting with general ledger reconciliations.
  • Compile and distribute various weekly/monthly financial and statistical reports for all levels of management.
  • Ensure proper and consistent administration of Company Pay Policies.
  • Perform data entry for all confidential information, set up printer for payroll and distribute checks.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/EDUCATION:

  • Requires a High School Diploma with business courses and prior payroll experience.
  • The position requires some typing and data entry skills.
  • Good math skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality are necessary.
